It is a matter of great pleasure that once again organization is organizing its Annual general meeting along with its members, workers, honorable guest and special invitees to the meeting. After welcoming all the members, workers and guest the secretary of the organization requested the chairman to take the chair so that the meeting may be started.
After occupying the chair by chairman the secretary addressed the members that during the financial year 2009-2010 the organization has carried out several activities. After that the copy of audited accounts were distributed among the members showing the Receipt & Payments during the year 2009-2010 for 6615801.75 (Rupees Sixty Six Lacs Fifteen Thousand Eight Hundred One and paise Seventy Five Only). He further explained that now he is giving the brief gist of all the programs carried out by the organization.
COMMON FACILITY CENTRE
During the financial year society has been sanctioned one Common Facility Centre under AHVY Scheme of Govt. Of India, Ministry of Textile, Office of the Development Commissioner (Handicraft), New Delhi. For carrying out this activity 5420000/- has been sanctioned to society out of which 2710000/- has been released to society in the last financial year and during the current financial year society received a grant of 2168000/- in the shape of First installment and rest amount has been due for department. Under this programme Workshed constructed for Artisans. This programme was carried out by society very successfully.
ADOLESCENT PROGRAMME
During the financial year 2008-2009 society has sanctioned a project from Govt. of India. Ministry of Youths Affairs & Sports. New Delhi regarding Training for Development and Empowerment of 50 Adolescent. The total duration of this programme is of four months and society has carried out this programme from 15/02/2009 to 15/06/2009. For carrying out such programme Rs. 456000/- has been sanctioned as well as release to society in the shape of first ad second installment. This programme was organized by society very successfully.
DISTRIBUTION OF TOOL KIT TO ARTISANS
During this financial year society has been sanctioned such programme under AHVY from Govt. of India, Ministry of Textile. Office of the Development Commissioner (Handicraft). New Delhi under AHVY. For carrying out such programme Rs. 500000/- has been sanction as well as release to society Under this programme society has distributed Toolkit among artisans. Society has carried out this programme very successfully.
CRAFT BAZAR
During this financial year society has been sanctioned one craft Bazar from Govt. of India, Ministry of Textile, Office of the Development Commissioner (Handicraft), New Delhi. For carrying out such programme 918750/- has been sanction to society out of which Rs. 459375/- has release to society in the shape of first installment and rest amount has been due for department. Society has organized such programme from 14/01.2011 to 23/01/2011 very successfully.
ORGANIZATION OF TRAINING PROGRAMME IN DALIA, PAPAD & CHIPS, SOFT TOYS MAKING TRAINING, FRUIT PRESERVATION TRAINING, BEAUTICIAN TRAINING & TAILORING & KNITTING
During this financial year society has carried out 5 No. Training programme with financial assistance of U.P. Mahila kalyan Nigam Ltd., Lucknow. Out of 5 no. training programme 1 belong to Tailoring & knitting, 1 Dalia, Papad & Chips, 1 Soft Toys Making Training, 1 Fruit Preservation Training Programme and 1 Beautician Training Programme. These camps were organized by society in Block-Afzalgarh, District- Bijnore. The duration of these programme were 120 hour, 120 hour, 150 hour, 230 hour and 230 hour respectively. These camp were organized between 28/10/2009 to 29/01/2010 By keeping approximately 10% balance payment has been released by Nigam to the society.
KAUSHAL PRASHIKSHAN TRAINING PROGRAMME
Duuring this financial year society has been sanctioned one programme for Organising Kaushal Prashikshan Programme from District Industries Centre (DIC), Moradabad. For carrying out such programme Rs. 119048/- has been sanction to society out of which Rs. 59524/- has release to society in the shaps of first installment and rest amount has been due for department. Society has organized such programme from 01/08/2009 to 31/01/2010 at Shiv Om Oversease Export, Gulabwadi, Katghar, Moradabad very successfully.
CONSUMER AWARENESSS CAMP
This consumer awareness camp was organized by society in Bilari. District- Moradabad. The Basis aim of this camp is to provide consumers, the knowledge of their legal rights & if they feel that they are being exploited by anybody else they may go to consumer forum court for taking the relief because “Ignorance of law “is no excuse. Therefore this camp was organized to provide legal knowledge to consumers. This camp was very much liked by the participants.
PLANTATION PROGRAMME
Society has also oganised one programme of Plantion at Kudarki, District- Moradabad. The program air lied at enhancing the environmental awareness among the people specially amongst the poor and illiterate. Earth is our mother and it is our sole duty to care her and keep her green and tidy. The major danger of today’s world is pollution of every kind . Air, Water etc. The program emphasized upon the importance which takes place on the surface of earth of earth. Large number of trees were planted by the society and people were encouraged for developing for developing the good habit of plantation.
AWARENESS CAMP ON WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY
Society has organized one awareness camp on the occasion of World Environment Day in Bhikanpur, District- Muradabad to get aware public about environment. The main participants to this camp were woman and children. Now a days pollution is the biggest problem before the world and lots of money is spend by every country
to minimize the extent of such pollution. The basis aim of this environment camp was to create awareness among woman so they may frame these ideas upon the mind of future generation. This camp was organized very successfully & liked by participants very much.
EXPENSES ON AWARENESS GENERATION CAMP
Society has again organized Awareness Generation Camp for Awaring the Public that where they should invest earnings. Now a days there are several types of Mutual Fund, Pension Plan and other investment plants in which higher yield may be taken in comparison to other investment. These camps were organized one in rural area and other in city area. In both the camps financial experts were called to explain that how public can get better yield of his money by taking insurance coverage and income tax benefit also. This camp was organized by society at Kudarki, District- Moradabad.
FORMATION OF SELF HELP GROUPS
Society has organized one camp for forming self help groups in the Bhikanpur area of District- Moradabad. In this camp society made several groups of women who were sitting ideally at home and doing nothing for earning something for their families. Society helped them to open their bank accounts and try to save something from their expenditure. Society also helped them to give them training in their choice of trade, so that they can self dependent and stand on their own feet. This camp was organized very successfully and was liked by people very much.
ORGANICATION OF DRINKING WATER AWARENESS CAMP
This camp was organized by society at Bhikanpur, District – Moradabad for giving the proper knowledge to people that how they should purify the water before using it. Because now a days out of 10 diseases 8 are caused by polluted water. Keeping in view the above problem persons residing in urban areas are using water filters for purifying the water, but still the people residing in rural areas are not very much cautious towards this problem. In order to motivate the persons such camps were organized.
TRAINING TO YOUTH FOR HANDICRAFT
Society has also been running one training centre for handicraft work at the registered office of the organization from the earlier financial years. In this training centre trainees were provided with the training in making of jute bags, wall hangings, baskets etc. This training centre was organized by society in order to help those artistic people whose art is going in vain and they are not well placed in society. With the help of this training these people can stand on their own feet. Now a days there is very good demand of these types of articles and hence these people will have no problem in placing them in society. This training centre was very successful and was liked by people very much.
CAMP FOR AIDS AWARENESS
It is not hyperbole to write that although our medical science has reached to a very high level but still in world only ‘AIDS’ is that disease which is totally incurable and once it is adopted by any one he become helpless, except to count the last days of his life. Therefore our government is giving too much attention that patients of such disease should not remain openly but they should remain in hospital so that efforts can be done to control it. This camp was organized by society in Kudarki, District- Moradabad in order to aware the participants that what is ‘AIDS’ and how they can remain away from this disease. In this camp several scientists and doctors have been called to tell the persons about this disease. This camp was very much liked by participants.

ACTIVITIES
Society has also been running one Reproductive and Child Health Programme in Block- Kudarki,, District- Moradabad. The Program basically emphasizes on the women and child health. The society organized camp regarding the program where the pregnant women were counseled and treated free of cost. They were also advised as to what precaution and diet should they prefer while pregnancy. The Program also provided free medical treatments and vaccination for the small children. This programme was very much liked by the persons.
AWARENESS CAMP OF RURAL SANITATION
Society has again organized one more programme for rural sanitation at Bhikanpur, Dsitrict-Moradabad. On the basis of survey conducted by society it was noticed that in our rural areas Sanitation is a big problem either it is a water sanitation waste management garbage disposal etc. Due to these sanitation problem people of rural area normally suffering from diaria, lungs problem, fever, jaundice, skin problem etc. This camp provided great relief to the persons.
EXPENSES ON CULTURAL PROGRAMME
During the financial year 2009-2010 the organization has organized one cultural programme at Block- Sahaspur, District – Moradabad. The aim of these camps is to provide high class of entertainment to public, these programmes includes dances, music programs, kavi sammelan & mussaira etc. All these programmes were organized successfully and liked by public very much.
VOCATIONAL TRAINING TO YOUTH
Society has been carrying out this programme at its registered office from the earlier financial years. In this training centre trainees are provided training in field of knitting, tailoring, embroidery work, painting, batik, fashion designing etc. etc... The main aim of this programme is to make trainees so skilled that they may become self depend and stand on their own feet for passing their live. Presently about 70 youths are taking training from this centre. This centre is discharging its duties very effectively and earn good name and fame for the society.
EDUCATIONAL FOR CHILDREN & ILLITERATE WOMEN
This year we targeted illiterate women and children to join the supplementary classes. We were able to persuade 50 women and 50 children in 5 villages on Block- Bhikanpur, District- Muradabad to join the classes. A female teacher was kept for the purpose of teaching the women in the evenings. Apart from reading and writing they were also taught little mathematics to do normal calculation that might be useful to them in the day to day life.
YOGA CAMP
Society has again organized one Yoga Camp for one week at registered office of the organization. The camp provided one week Yoga training to the people and also counseled them regarding necessity of Yoga for a healthy and happy life. During the training different Asanas were demonstrated and advised as to how to bring them in regular practice, what are their importance and effect on the body. Women in large number could be soon at the camp every day. The camp was organized successfully.
HEALTH CHECK UP CAMPS
Society has organized health check up camps in different slum areas in Kudarki, District- Moradabad. The society has carried out medical checkup to the poor class without any discrimination of caste, creed and class. Free medicines were also distributed to the patients. This camp has provided great relief to the poor public.
WOMEN WELFARE CAMP
This programme has been started by society to make the proper development of women especially in rural areas. Under this programme field workers appointed by society visit door to door and explain to women that how they should make better use of their spare time, how to keep house clean, how to keep themselves fit etc. This programme was very much liked women of areas.
RUNNING OF OLD DAY CARE CENTRE
As per the last year success society has again organized one old care centre for old and retired persons at Sahaspur, District- Moradabad. This old age home was established in order to help those persons who have retired from their jobs and now they are sitting ideal and have no jobs in their hands. This old age home provides every kind of help and entertainment to these people. This home is very good place for those persons who are biocotted from society and the persons get a place at which they can have talks with the people of their age groups. This Old age home was very much liked by the people and was very successful.
FARMERS TRAINING
Society has organized one camp for farmers training for advanced technology. In this camp society gave training to farmers about the latest machines and hybrid seeds. Etc. Though this training farmers of the area were highly benefited and they were made familiar about the latest technologies and the methods by using which they can increase their farming to a great extent. This training was organized at Bhikanpur, District- Moradabad and it was extremely successful.
DRUG DE-ADDICTION CAMP
During this financial year society has organized programmes on Anti Drug Addiction in Bilari, District- Moradabad, under which several serious topics were covered such as generating awareness amongst people about the evil effect of consuming alcohol. People appreciated the theme of the Programme very much as this conveyed them the message that one could develop a healthy social and family environment in their surrounding once they leave this bad habit. On this occasion the society also showed documentary films regarding step towards anti drug addiction. Children and females also turned up at the venue. Females were also made aware of this fact and advised as to how they could guide their relatives to give up this bad conduct.
NO DESIGN & TECHNICAL DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP
Design & Technical Development workshop from Govt. of India, Ministry of Textile, Office of the Development Commissioner (Handicraft), New Delhi. For carrying out such programme Rs. 540000/- has been sanction to society out of which Rs. 270000/- has release to society in the shaps of first installment and rest amount has been due for department. This programme was organized by society very successfully.
